ABCs of Student Success
Pis for Parent Involvement!
Research shows that when parents are involved in their child’s education their academic achievement increases. We appreciate how many of you are involved in your child’s education here at West Elementary, but if you are looking for ways to get involved here are a few:
Read with your child each night. Regular reading improves many skills and academic outcomes for our young students. It also helps establish reading is something your family values and that it is a fun activity.
Volunteer at school. We are happy to work with you on opportunities to volunteer at our school. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our main office.
Attend school activities. We are always so happy with how many people participate in our school activities. This is a great way to engage with the school. We have many great school events coming up this semester, including our Fathers and Fairytales Dance on February 9th!
Average Daily Attendance Data= 94.81%
% of Students Present 90% of the Time= 86.9%
Goal= At least 90% of Students Present 90% of the Time
We are close, we can do it! Everyday matters!
