As the Wright City R-II School District is dedicated to the success of every student, the Department of Teaching and Learning is responsible for ensuring that the curriculum, instruction, assessment, professional development, and programs of the Wright City R-II School District support that mission. With the passing of HB1490 in Missouri and the passage of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), it is a dynamic time in education as we continually strive to provide today's youth with the education they need to compete as adults in a global marketplace. In the Wright City R-II School District, our focus remains on providing rigorous instruction and assessment, engaging students in their learning, and using data to drive our instruction and decision-making to meet the needs of all learners.
