Federal Programs

The Wright City R-II School District receives revenue from local, state, and federal sources.  Federal Programs include, but are not limited to, Title I.A, Title II, Title III, Title IV, and Title VII.  The Wright City R-II School District participates in a program called Schoolwide Plan which allows us to serve all students using our funding in our East and West Elementary buildings. Title I is a federally-funded program that was originally part of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 designated to improve the academic achievement of students who are designated as economically disadvantaged.  These funds apply to both the public school district as well as the students who meet qualifications, are residents of the Wright City School District, but elect to attend Nonpublic schools.  However, the Wright City R-II School District participates in a program called Schoolwide Plan, allowing us to serve all students using our federal funding in both our East and West Elementary buildings.

If you have any questions regarding Title I services or funding, please contact Mr. Doug Smith, Assistant Superintendent, at (636) 745-2000.
