Facility Use
As a service to the community and in accordance with law, the Board of Education may allow community groups as defined in policy KG to use district facilities for educational, recreational, social, civic, philanthropic and other similar purposes when the facilities are not being used by the district or district-sponsored groups. The superintendent or designee is directed to create and enforce procedures addressing facility use and may approve or deny facility use requests in accordance with this policy. Granting a request to use district facilities does not constitute district endorsement of the activity, organization, organization's mission or any opinion expressed by the groups or members of the groups.
Further procedural details may be found in KG-AP(1). Non district-sponsored groups may apply online for Special Event Insurance at the Missouri United School Insurance Council (MUSIC).

Step 2:Administration will review your request and determine if the need may be fulfilled
based on already scheduled events, staffing, space and equipment capabilities.
Step 3:Once all departments have reviewed the facility use request, you will receive an email from elisabeth.thompson@wrightcity.k12.mo.us either confirming or denying your request. This email will also outline your fee structure based on your group classification and request a certificate of insurance with Wright City R-II named as additionally insured. Step 4:Once your proof of insurance and deposit (if applicable) have been received by the district, your event(s) will be added to the district calendar to hold your space and help district staff prepare for your needs.
