Wright City R-II School District uses Infinite Campus to send communication to parents/guardians about emergencies, inclement weather notices, attendance, and other important information.

The WC Connection is a student-run newspaper publication created and managed by Wright City High School journalism students, under the supervision of our journalism teacher. From writing and editing to design and publishing, our students take the lead every step of the way. This hands-on experience helps them build real-world communication skills while giving readers an inside look to life at Wright City R-II School District.

Media Requests

Media personnel who want to film, photograph or interview Wright City R-II School District staff members, students, or Board of Education members are asked to make a request through the Communications Department at (636) 745-7500 ext 16408.

The Wright City R-II School District operates in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). This law allows students and parents to opt out of the release of certain information about students, including photographs.

Wright City R-II School District utilizes Infinite Campus to notify all households by phone call, text message, and email of school closings and if snow routes are initiated. Announcements are also posted to our District website, social media platforms, and local news stations.

The District may dismiss early when inclement weather arrives quickly and unexpectedly during the school day. Parents/guardians will be notified via the appropriate Infinite Campus channels, and are encouraged to have a plan in place to ensure an adult is available to care for young children if they get home early.
