Below you find the official ballot language of Prop 1967 (date the current HS was built) and Prop 2025 (proposed date of new HS opening) that will be on the ballot on April 5, 2022.

    Proposition 1967 (Question 1)

Shall Wright City R-II School District of Warren County, Missouri issue its general obligation bonds in the amount of $37,000,000 for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, improving, repairing, renovating, furnishing and equipping school facilities, including constructing a new high school and competition facilities?

If this question is approved, the District’s debt service property tax levy is estimated to remain unchanged at $1.20 per $100 of assessed valuation of real and personal property.

    Proposition 2025 (Question 2)

Shall the Board of Education of Wright City R-II School District of Warren County, Missouri be authorized to increase the operating tax levy ceiling to $3.4587 per $100 of assessed valuation according to the 2022 assessment for operating expenses and funding capital projects of the District, including constructing a new high school and competition facilities?

If this question is approved, it is expected to result in no increase to the overall tax levy of the District as the operating tax levy is estimated to increase by 21 cents per $100 of assessed valuation and the debt service tax levy is estimated to decrease by the same amount.
