Event Guidelines & Expectations

These guidelines apply to all campus events, both indoor and outdoor, whether athletic or non-athletic:

Campus Rules

  • Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited on campus

  • Pets are not allowed on campus

Spectator Conduct

To ensure a safe and respectful environment for all participants, spectators must follow these expectations:

  • Let the coaches coach

  • Let the officials officiate

  • Let the players play

Violations of these rules may result in removal from the event and potential exclusion from future events.

Thank you for supporting our students and helping us create a positive and respectful environment at all Wright City events.

Tryout Requirements

Before participating in any school-sponsored sport tryout or marching band activity, students must complete the following:

Once these documents are submitted to and verified by the Athletics Office, students will receive their tryout card in order to participate.

Sports By Season

*Beware of online events claiming to stream any WCR2 sports or activities. If live streaming is available, it will be hosted on MSHSAA (may require subscription), or an official Wright City School District Facebook or YouTube page. When in doubt, don’t pay—and contact your school with any questions.

Resident participant students interested in non-traditional option 3, eligible to participate under SB63 in MSHSAA, interscholastic activities, and other co-curricular activities, please contact Mr. Rodgers.
