Virtual Student Chromebook Support
We understand things happen while virtual students are working at home. To get maintenance for a virtual student's Chromebook, follow the process below:
1. Parents or students should submit a helpdesk ticket by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include the following information in your email:
* Student name
* Student school
* Parent name
* Contact email
* Detailed description of the problem
2. If the technology department directs you to drop off the student chromebook for service, you will need to drop it off at the HIGH SCHOOL. Monday-Friday 7am - 2:30pm. You will need to pick it up from the same location once repairs are completed.
NOTE: If you are quarantined for any reason, you should not be coming to the building. Have someone who is not quarantined drop your device off for maintenance if needed.
3. The technology department will communicate via email if they need further information or to provide further instruction for repair drop off.
Replacement chargers cost $20.00 and must be purchased from the school librarian. Repairs costs that are not related to manufacturer defects will vary based on grade and if the student purchased insurance. Insurance does not cover devices or chargers that are deliberately damaged, lost, stolen, or needing to be totally replaced. Willful and deliberate damages to the device will result in the student being charged for the cost of the replacement parts or for a replacement device. Replacement devices are $320
*This link is for students/parents ONLY, staff should still utilize the internal helpdesk system.
**This is for virtual students ONLY - students attending in session should see their building librarian (6-12) or classroom teacher (K-5) with any problems.
