Children 3 & 4 years of age in the Wright City R-II School District are eligible to become potential students in the Wright City R-II School District’s preschool program. Preschool age children will be screened by Parents As Teachers (PAT) to see who would be best suited to be integrated model peers for the Early Childhood Special Education program during the 2017-2018 school year.
The district goal is to serve students in a top quality preschool to better prepare them for K-12 learning. The preschool has teachers certified in the area of Early Childhood Education.
Wright City Early Childhood Center is located at 80 Bell Road and the program is free for area residents. Students attend 2 half days each week and parents will need to provide transportation.
Children are required to be screened for the program. Screening date for the new school year will be on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. All children must be 3 years of age before May 3 to be eligible for screening.
Call Wright City Early Childhood Center at 636-791-2150 if interested in scheduling a screening appointment or for more information about the program.
