Miss Heinzman’s Resource Room
It has been a VERY exciting semester in Miss Heinzman’s Resource Room. The children are learning so many different things this year.
Between my WONDERFUL paras and me, we have begun incorporating art projects into our weekly lessons. This helps with many fine motor skills such as using scissors and gluing. We have also tried to incorporate sensory integration by having the children do cooking activities once a week. We have made many delicious snacks such as applesauce and ants on a log. The children all really seem to enjoy this. All of the children have made wonderful progress in all academic areas. We have children moving reading levels and children writing just for fun! We also have children adding and subtracting and telling time. I am very proud of all of the FANTASTIC things that are happening in room 207!!
